We support access to abortion because we deeply understand that this issue is being used by those in power to preserve their own power, at the health and expense of the rest of us. We work to equip all people with the knowledge, resources and access they need to make healthy, informed decisions for themselves and their families. Abortion in any circumstance is a medical procedure, and therefore, the decisions surrounding it should be made between the person with a uterus and their healthcare providers.
“Ashrei,” is a Hebrew word from the Psalms that means “forward.” All of our work - including fighting for access to safe abortion and quality reproductive healthcare - is focused on moving our community forward along the path towards abolishing all systems of exclusion and oppression, to a future where all people may live with dignity, justice and freedom.

With Amendment 3’s legal implementation in process, Missouri clinics are poised to resume abortion care. In the meantime, Abortion Action MO is preparing to meet the moment by building out our volunteer base across the state to support clinics and defend reproductive freedom in Jefferson City.
