Carol Wofsey

Carol Wofsey is an experienced community volunteer and retired business attorney.

Ms. Wofsey’s interest areas have included gun violence, racial justice and healthcare. While active with Women’s Voices Raised for Social Justice she served at various times as co-chair for its Racial Justice Committee, the Campaign for Commonsense Gun Solutions, and Lock it for Love, a community gun safety/gun lock outreach and education program. 

Ms. Wofsey has previously served on several boards, including those of Central Reform Congregation (where she also spent several years as the co-chair of the Tikkun Olam Steering Committee), the American Corporate Counsel Association-St. Louis and University City in Bloom. Ms. Wofsey is a former chair of the Traffic Commission of University City in Bloom.

Now retired, her previous employment includes positions as Volunteer Coordinator for the Obama 08 campaign and Vice President, Associate General Counsel of Maritz Inc. Ms. Wofsey is a graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School, and the University of Rochester.

Ms. Wofsey and her husband live in University City, Missouri.
