This casual gathering is designed to bring volunteers together to connect, learn, and strengthen the work we do alongside our community.

Over coffee and conversation, we’ll share program updates and create space for your questions and insights. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or just getting started, this is your opportunity to deepen your understanding of how the Photo ID Clinic supports guests in accessing critical identification and the opportunities it unlocks.

We’re also honored to welcome guest speaker Denise Liberman, Director & General Counsel of the Missouri Voter Protection Coalition. Denise will discuss the federal SAVE Act and its implications for Missouri voters, along with a proposed Missouri companion bill requiring documentary proof of citizenship. She’ll break down how these policies compare—and what they could mean for the communities we serve.

Ashrei’s North City Photo ID Project has played a key role in highlighting the real-world impact of strict ID requirements. Through our work, we’ve helped demonstrate the barriers many Missourians face in obtaining essential documents like birth certificates—barriers that would be further compounded under these proposed laws.
