Ashrei Foundation at the 2026 St. Louis International Film Festival

Join the Ashrei Foundation for Documentary Shorts 8 – IS THIS AMERICA/THIS IS AMERICA at the 2026 St. Louis International Film Festival (SLIFF), presented by Cinema St. Louis.

This powerful collection of short documentaries explores the realities of the U.S. immigration system, from the impact of aggressive enforcement and denied due process to the communities, volunteers, journalists, and advocates standing alongside immigrants and asylum seekers. The films highlight both the challenges facing our neighbors and the many ways people are coming together to protect one another.

Ashrei Foundation will join the filmmakers for a post-screening discussion about the issues raised in the films and the work happening here in our community.
